Matilde Beldroega is a hand screen-printing studio based in Tomar, Portugal. From our studio we develop our own collection of hand screen-printed textiles, produced in small batches using natural materials and eco-friendly water-based inks.

The brand was founded in 2004 with a collection of handmade textile art toys. This remained the focus of the project until 2016, when screen printing entered our lives.

Since then, we have been developing collections of home textiles and accessories, as well as limited-edition paper prints.

All our pieces are produced in our studio, from the initial design to the finished product. We favour natural fibres such as cotton, linen, silk and wool. Our screen-printing inks are water-based, eco-friendly and certified, containing no toxic or harmful substances.

Our pieces are made with time, crafted by hand and carefully finished at every stage of the process.

As a small independent studio, we work mainly to order. This way of working allows us to maintain the quality and attention each piece deserves, avoid waste, keep unnecessary stock to a minimum and find time to develop new ideas.

Our website includes an online shop where a selection of pieces is available for direct purchase. It also serves as a showcase for our work and a space to present new collections.

For retailers, our work is available through the Faire platform or by direct contact.
